IT System Administrator (m/w/d)

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented IT Operations Specialist to manage and maintain our company’s IT infrastructure across all locations. In this role, you will ensure that employees have reliable devices, secure access, and a seamless technology experience every day. You will oversee network equipment, AV/VC systems, end-user hardware, and software lifecycle management, while continuously improving our automation and IT processes.
Your tasks
  • Manage and configure all network gear: cabling, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
  • Administer mobile device and access management.
  • Keep AV/VC systems (for meetings), printers, and scanners running smoothly.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of laptops and mobile devices.
  • Administer company tools and licenses (renewals, usage audits).
  • Provide hands-on IT support and monitor systems daily.
  • Develop scripts (Bash, PowerShell) to automate provisioning and configuration.
  • Coordinate the packing and couriering of IT gear across all locations.
  • Handle the proper storage, tracking, and movement of all peripherals (monitors, adapters, etc.).
  • Manage the installation, labeling, and organization of all network and IT cables.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or systems administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with network hardware (switches, Wi-Fi access points) and cabling standards.
  • Experience with MDM and identity management platforms.
  • Proficiency with macOS, Windows, and mobile device ecosystems.
  • Basic scripting skills in Bash and/or PowerShell.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
  • Experience managing AV/VC systems (Zoom Rooms, Google Meet, Teams, etc.)
  • Familiarity with asset management tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks across distributed environments.
